Fried  Bean Seeds (locally known in Bangladesh as Bhaja Shimer Bichi) is a popular snack made primarily from hyacinth bean seeds. To prepare it, the seeds are usually boiled first until soft, then fried over sand or in oil, and finally mixed with salt and other spices before serving.
