All our meat products are certified by HMS (Halal Monitoring Services), a service of Shariah Board of America and Rahmat-e-Alam Foundation. We only sell Zabiha Handcut Meat including Fresh Whole Chicken, Goat, Beef, and Lamb. We adhere to the 13-Point Inspection Checks in our halal meat production process as per the guidelines below.
100% Handcut Zabiha
All our animals are hand cut individually. We don't employ automated machines running at high speed to harvest and kill the animal. We follow all the rules for the ritual slaughter - all the blood vessels are appropriately severed.
No Pre-Slaughter Stunning
We have decided not to do pre-slaughter stunning before the animal is actually harvested. Unlike conventional slaughterhouses that use electric water, electric rods, or pneumatic stunners, we follow traditional Islamic methods without stunning.
Always Local
When you buy from us, you always get local meat. We never import any halal meat from foreign countries. It is never frozen like those imported meats. We ensure that our meat reaches from the Farm to the Table in the shortest period of time.
USDA Inspected and Approved
Our meat is inspected and approved by USDA to ensure it is safe, wholesome, correctly labeled, and packaged. Meat is checked for animal diseases and unseen hazards, such as microbiological and chemical contamination.
Muslim Slaughterer
The person doing the slaughter is strictly a Muslim. To avoid any confusion and ensure proper Islamic slaughter requirements are followed, we have decided to get the animal slaughter done only by a Muslim.
Tasmiyah - Name of Allah
Tasmiyah - Name of Allah is verbally recited at the time of slaughtering the animal. No other name is taken in conjunction with the name of "Allah". We also don't delay to harvest the animal after saying Tasmiyah.
Complete Vegetarian Diet
All our animals are strictly fed a vegetarian diet. No animal byproducts or fats are mixed in their diet. This ensures those byproducts don't end up in your body when you consume our wholesome halal meat.
No Growth Hormones or Antibiotics
Our animals are never administered any growth hormones or antibiotics. Since there are no antibiotics in our meat, your body won't develop antibiotic resistance when you are administered medication by your doctor.
No Contamination
We strictly enforce that the meat of a zabiha animal is not mixed with non-zabiha meat. The packaging line for the meat of our zabiha animal is entirely separate to prevent cross-contamination.
Blood Drained
We drain the blood out of the animal after they are harvested. Blood is harmful to health as it is full of bacteria, infective agents, waste, and toxic substances. Blood makes meat less healthy, less nutritious, and it can spoil fast.
Right Temperature
While cleaning the animals after harvest, we make sure the water temperature is never kept high, which may cause the heat to permeate into the meat and cause it to spoil fast.
Pure & Tayyeb
Tayyeb, meaning to be wholesome and pure, is deeply rooted in Islamic philosophy and principles. While being halal ensures permissible manufacturing, tayyeb ensures what we produce is backed by an ethical supply chain.
Certified Humane
Our animals are given the Certified Humane label, which verifies the humane manner in which our animals are raised, transported, and handled. This results in happier and healthier farm animals, leading to higher quality meat.
